Build A Scientific Data App on the Tetra OS
Scientists and data engineers often need a custom view on their data that off-the-shelf tools don't provide, such as a focused dashboard, a review screen, or a small workflow that turns a manual analysis into a repeatable one. Building that view has historically meant standing up a web app from scratch. That work has little to do with the science, and it slows good ideas down.
It no longer has to.
In this 30-minute live showcase, we will walk you through how to build a real QC plate-review app on Tetra OS No prior React experience required. You describe the app you want; the assistant builds it.
What you'll see:
- Two commands to scaffold a complete, working starter app with ts-cli
- Plain-English prompts that take it from empty project to running QC screen
- The TetraScience React UI toolkit in action — PlateMap, DataAppShell, scientific components that look right out of the box
- How to refine and iterate by reviewing the result and asking for changes — the same way you'd mark up a figure
- Publishing a working scientific data app to Tetra OS
Who this is for: Data engineers building lab workflows, scientists comfortable working with JSON files, and scientific IT teams evaluating what's possible on the platform. If you've ever wanted a custom data view and didn't want to build a web app from scratch, this session is for you.

Build A Scientific Data Schema with Tetra AI
Your lab generates data from instruments your informatics team has never seen before. Getting that data into a governed, AI-ready format has historically meant tickets, backlogs, and weeks of work before a single scientist can query a result.
On September 17, we'll show a faster way, live. Starting from a real instrument file, we'll use an AI coding assistant alongside Tetra OS to explore the data, identify the instrument and its conventions, and build a working Instrument Data Schema from scratch — published to the platform by the end of the session.
No prior knowledge of the instrument required. Bring your own model, your own tooling, and your own questions about working with proprietary instrument data within your organization's AI governance policies.

What are TetraScience Showcases?
A TetraScience Technical Showcase is a live, interactive, and expert-led session in which we share the tools and strategies transforming lab data infrastructure across life sciences.
Led by our Sciborgs and product team, a Tetra Showcase offers real-world use cases working with scientific data and automation, best practices for scale and implementation, and applications at the forefront of analytics and scientific AI.
This isn’t a webinar. It’s a working session. Bring your questions. We’ll be updating this page regularly with new topics, so check back often.
