BOSTON, Mass., June 26, 2023 - TetraScience, the Scientific Data Cloud company, has released Tetra Data Platform v3.5—a significant update with customer-driven features and enhancements that accelerate the time to value for primary scientific data while streamlining experiences for scientific data engineers.
Part of the Tetra Scientific Data Cloud™, the Tetra Data Platform provides the foundation for connecting, centralizing, enriching, and harmonizing data in the cloud. It improves collaboration and prepares data for AI/ML models, advanced analytics, and visualization tools. Version 3.5 helps make the data journey faster and more efficient so organizations can deliver scientific outcomes sooner.

The release includes several features that will speed the process of onboarding, enriching, and accessing primary data for scientific work. For example, v3.5 facilitates contextualization of scientific data using curated terms from the Tetra Data Platform catalog. This version also makes it simpler to modify the labels of numerous files at once. Better contextualization and labeling will help users find the data they need faster.
Additional enhancements reduce the time and complexity of essential data engineering tasks—such as debugging file processing, adjusting protocol memory, configuring file agents, and creating self-service pipelines. By streamlining workflows, these enhancements will help data engineers deliver clean, high-quality data for scientific applications more rapidly.
TetraScience is also releasing features in beta that provide greater flexibility for deploying new functionality for the Tetra Data Platform. For example, new pluggable connectors allow organizations to add connectors independent of Tetra Data Platform releases, so they can start benefiting from those connectors right away. In addition, the Tetra Hub enables organizations to take advantage of functions and patches without having to upgrade the entire platform.
